Zanefa Walsh, a professional with over fifteen years of marketing and communications experience, spent years trying to figure out how to combine her passion for digital communications, anthropology, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. She conceived Your Story Connects, LLC. in 2019 when she realized two things: 1) storytelling is a major part of her passions, and 2) helping companies extract and promote their brand stories was what she wanted to do. ​

 

Your Story Connects began with a focus on telling stories through digital communications and a social cohesion project. In 2025, the company evolved into a strategic communications consultancy committed to helping individuals and organizations communicate more strategically, persuasively, and creatively.
